It's such a humbling experience when couples with whom we have worked with over the years, write to us and tell us after their celebration , how much they (and their family & friends) have loved the ceremony which we created for them.
During the year, various groups have Awards which acknowledge suppliers through-out the wedding industry. One such company - Mrs2be.ie - an online wedding group, whom we worked with for several years, has an annual Award program. The selection process for nominations are done by past brides & grooms (or even family & friends of the couple) can nominate a business which they felt has gone above and beyond. Once a company has been nominated, there is a review process - where the couples from the previous 12month period can submit a review of the nominated supplier - giving scores for various criteria.
Over the past five years, we have been entered into the competition - and this year, we have again progressed through Nomination, Review and have just been announced as one of the Finalists for the category of "Best Wedding Celebrant".
Gabrielle and I are completely thrilled that four years entered - four years reaching this part of the competition.
So we now hold our breaths and await the final judging of the Mrs2Be.i3 Annual Bride's Choice Awards!! We will definitely keep you all updated!
